Embracing Our Values, Traditions, and Teachings: Native Peoples of North America HIV/AIDS Conference

Anchorage was selected as the location for the national conference, slated for May 3 - 6, 2006.

The goals of the conference are to heighten awareness of HIV/AIDS issues, disseminate the latest HIV/AIDS research information, and to foster collaboration and communication among Native Peoples, including American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, First Nations, and Pacific Islanders.
